Dear LJ,

Yesterday it wouldn't stop raining. FOR EVER. The kangaroos nearly washed away.
Today I got a leech on me!!

The end.

PS. Ranger just came in and the expression on his face was something like; "Hi mum! You like wet dogs, right!? :D"

IT'S OKAY! He was all skinny and wiggly so hadn't been there long. I have a teeny tiny spot where I can see where he was attached.

This is my first leech since I was eight years old or something.

I've probably had at least 30 ticks on me, in my life, and while finding one sucks, for some reason I would rather have five ticks than a slimy, sucking leech. D:

(I think Stand By Me maybe ruined me on leeches.)

I've been swaaaarmed by ticks, but I think the feeling of finding one fully engorged and lodged into me strikes more fear into my heart than finding a leech. You don't have paralysis ticks in the US, do you?

(Oh, man. Stand By Me. It's been so long since I've watched that, but that scene will forever be with me.)

No, no paralysis ticks, but a lot of the ticks from PA carry Lyme's disease, is pretty lame. My mom's had it twice, now.
